How we met

Bryan and I met while working for iCi, The Internet Connection in Mansfield, MA.  We became friends during the 2 and a half years I worked there.  After I gave my notice that I was leaving, Bryan and I starting spending more and more time together.  One night we were out to dinner at this great Indian restaurant we love in Providence, It's hard to explain but I knew he was interested in me as more than a friend when he was looking at me in this funny way.  The look in his eyes were so intense and we just sat there silently staring for a moment, it felt like forever.  From there the relationship just grew and when I move out of the apartment I was sharing with my cousin into my own place he should have just moved in at the same time.  I had given him a key to my apartment and I would come home to dinner already cooked, roses, rented videos, etc.  We have a lot in common so we spend all our free time together.  When he started leaving a change of clothes at my place we knew it was time to find a bigger place that was "Ours".  We moved in together April 1999 into our first place together.  The year to follow we both changed our jobs twice and moved three times.

How we got engaged

We just grew together and talked about it so much we just knew that we were going to spend the rest of our lives together.  For his birthday we went to Martha's Vineyard for the day.  It was a beautiful sunny spring day.  We had a wonderful lunch at the Aquinnah Restaurant on Gay Head which has great views of the cliffs.  After lunch we went over to the scenic area to get a better view of the light house and when I turned around there he was holding the ring and asking me to marry him.
